Below is the winter board: a snowflake with eight arms, 58 tiles, on a blue table, with a snowman, a mitten, a mug of cocoa and a sled among the bonus tiles. It is the smallest board on the site and the one I reach for when there are ten minutes between other things.

The other seasonal boards each have a page of their own, with a shape and a set of bonus tiles to match:

None of these boards changes the rules. The suits, winds and dragons are the same tiles you see on the main board, with the same numbers and letters in the corners, and only the eight bonus tiles are drawn differently. Any of the shapes can also be played in the plain green style from the layout menu on the main board.

The snowflake itself is quick and open: 32 of its 58 tiles are free on the first move, and a random clicker still finishes 80 boards in a hundred. Its only depth is the three-tile stack at the centre, so the last pairs usually come from there.

Spring, Easter and summer boards will follow when the calendar gets there.
